Activity during external event BioReaction. The project was promoted, and the table was open for discussion. Farmers were surveyed about their needs towards sustainable (regenerative) agriculture. KPI - means the number of surveyed farmers with whom we had a discussion
It is important that agricultural vocational students who come into contact with modern agricultural practices for the first time during their training are given the opportunity to experience them in a practical environment. EIT Food supported the field trip of two classes from two vocational schools to attend a one-day excursion with a field demonstration. Fortunately, the young farmers also included a large proportion of female pupils.
In three field trips, we'll address issues related to soil and plant health, with a practical view of the problems and solutions for more sustainable agriculture.
Teachers from several agricultural schools are prepared for specific LfL topics: Farm diversification, breeding research (drought resistance, old grain varieties), robotics and strip intercropping); seminar formats and field visits
The aim of the event was to organize a meeting for a group of agricultural producers, where participants will be able to learn about new modern methods of cultivation (with the special attention for Regenerative Agriculture) and will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge through networking.
